Hi all I just had a general question regarding filling out the Course Names for the Course Work section of the AMCAS. I have watched all the tutorial videos and read the instructions manual and have done multiple searches for this (even met with my Pre-Med advisor) and still can't find an answer. Basically, I know your supposed to enter the course name exactly it appears on my transcript, but for one of my classes it was an honors program seminar and appears as:

ARTP 189H UNIV HONORS SEMINAR (grade) (credit hours) (credit earned)
Creativity 101

Right now I have it entered for Course Name as: "UNIV HONORS SEMINAR Creativity 101" on my application. Do you think this is alright? The only reason why I'm asking is because I don't want a delay on my application and is wondering if anyone who has submitted an application has ran into a similar situation. I would call or email AMCAS about this but because of Hurricane Sandy 😡 they won't be back in the office until 10/31

I spelled out everything since my transcript was abbreviation city, and amcas didn't care.

Um if you still haven't submitted your primary yet at this point, I would seriously consider applying next cycle instead.

Good luck getting an interview scheduled. Even if you make it that far, hopefully there will still be a few seats open.

This is very late in the cycle.. Unless you have a killer app, or lots of money I would wait haha.

Ever wonder how people that probably should get accepted end up having to reapply each year? Exhibit A.

Good luck OP. Not gunna say you're doomed, but frankly this is probably the least of your problems unless you're an out of this world applicant.
