In AMCAS application, should I list a traffic speeding ticket I received in Texas few months back? I pleaded no contest, took a driving safety course, and paid the fine for the case to be dismissed. A traffic speeding ticket is classified as a "Class C misdemeanor" in Texas. I am confused as to whether I should mention this in the application. Looking forward to your input. Thank you!

From the AMCAS instruction manual, emphasis mine: "You must indicate whether you ever been convicted of, or pleaded guilty or no contest to, a Misdemeanor crime, excluding 1) any offense for which you were adjudicated as a juvenile, 2) any convictions which have been expunged or sealed by a court, or 3) any misdemeanor convictions for which any probation has been completed and the case dismissed by the court (in states where applicable)."

Sounds like if the case has been dismissed, you don't have to report it.
