AMCAS before the MCAT?

Hi, i was just a little confused on the amcas app. Do you have to apply to amcas before taking the mcat...or do they automatically get it...when you select to send it to them at the end of the test?

no, you can take the MCAT before applying (most people do). they automatically get the score, since AMCAS and the MCAT are both a part of AAMC.

you can take the MCAt before or after you submit your appl. to AAMCAS,
it doesn't matter.
