I've searched this and everyone says paleobiology is not BCPM because it's under the geology dept, but if I take it under the dept Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, I'm assuming it would be BCPM right?

It's not BCPM because of the content of the course. Course classification isn't always dependent on the department it is under. An exercise psychology class may be under the bio department but would definitely not qualify as BCPM.

If you have to take it, list it as Biology and they'll probably leave it classified that way. There's no penalty if they change the classification, so worst case scenario is that they decide it's not BCPM. Best case scenario is that they leave it as BCPM. It can go either way.
