I am applying to medical schools this cycle and will also do a special master's program starting in August. My AMCAS is "ready for review" but I will update medical schools with fall grades in January which is late in the cycle. AMCAS seems to be at least a month behind. Do you think this is going to help late applicants? How much more delaying will AMCAS have?

I don't think so. My understanding is that once you submit, your application is "in line" to be verified. Those who submit late will still be further back in the line than those who submitted early.

Yep. If you're late, you'll only be even further behind as it'll take even more time for things to go through the motions.

No.

In fact, the delay is going to emphasize the difference between people who submitted as soon as they can and those that didn't.

People who submitted on 6/10 have already gotten interview invites from Pritzker. AMCAS just started verifying people that submitted on 6/12 at the end of Friday.
