Hey guys,
I think I have a doozie for you guys. If you could please help I'd appreciate it!
I went to one college my freshman year and took a required philosophy/religion seminar which was reading and writing intensive. Based only on the Course number and title I would feel most comfortable classifying it as Religion/Philosophy on amcas.
I transferred to a different school for sophomore year (which is the school i got my degree from) and they accepted these credits as ENGLISH (6 cred). While at the new school I ALSO took an additional creative writing course for a writing requirement listed under RELIGIOUS STUDIES...but this course would be more accurately described as creative writing (it fulfilled my university's writing requirement).
My questions is: I know we are supposed to enter these courses as they appear on the transcript from which the original course was taken and not the classification given when transferred. Now I feel like I've taken 3 English courses but none of which will officially be labeled as such. What should I do!?
Should I just enter them as they are literally listed on the original transcripts then deal with it later? my newer transcript which has my transfer credit clearly lists those old courses as ENGL but i know we are supposed to go by the original school's records.
