I was looking over my AMCAS and discovered a very significant typo. I listed the date for an activity as happening in 2005 rather than 2004. I think I need to correct this but I am not sure how to proceed. AMCAS has already indicated they can't change it. I already have two interviews and nearly all my secondaries are in.
I'm considering some of the following options:
1) write a letter explaining the typos and give it to adcoms in person at the school at which I am interviewing
2) send all schools an e-mail explaining the mistake ( I am worried that a mistake like this might deter schools from considering my application)
3) Not do anything formally but mention it at an interview if it comes up.
I am so upset with myself right now. I would greatly appreciate any advice you all might have.
Thanks!
