Hey guys - Id really appreciate anyone's advice on this, esp faculty !!
So I was looking over my AMCAS which was in very early (June, all secondaries in by mid August) in preparation for an interview, when I realized that for a research experin car I had my senior year of college (2013) I accidentally put down 50 hours instead of 150. I listed this as one of my most significant experiences and am now freaking out a bit since this would mean schools think I was there for 3 hours a week instead of 10. I have ZERO perspective on whether it would be appropriate to email schools at this point to update/correct. I don't want to seem super neurotic or point out my own carelessness, but to think I did a third of the time I actually did, for something I listed as significant feels a bit like a major deal. If this impacts even a single application decision for me I would just feel SO dumb after all the hard work I put in. HELP!!!
