Its kinda random...my friend and I submitted 3 hours from each other (he submitted 3 hours earlier than I did) and we each had 2 transcripts already sent in when we submitted...

he submitted 8pm on 7/18 and was processed by 4pm 7/26...I submitted 11:30 pm on 7/18 and haven't been processed or verified yet (7/30)...

I submitted on 7/24/04, the application was on hold til 7/25/05, and it's been active since (but not verified). But it was really weird because today I got an e-mail from U of Pittsburg inviting me to fill their MSTP secondary. So I'm wondering if AMCAS tells the schools you've submitted and notifies them later when your application is verified. Otherwise, how would U Pitts know I have submitted my app? I haven't heard any word from their Med school yet though.
Anyone seen something similar? That's strange.

Well, I had the same thing with Pitt. Heard from the MSTP first, but I just recently heard from the med school. Though, this was all after my AMCAS was processed.

That's been my experience as well.
