Hello All,

For any of you who have gone through the process of sending in your applications/transcripts into medical schools, do they follow the +/- system used or do they consider an A- as 4 points when determining GPA for their applicants.

Thanks in advance!

Eddy

If your school has the +/- system, they will also follow that (excluding A+). So an A is a 4, an A- is a 3.7 (or 3.67, I forget), etc. look it up online for the grade conversion chart, it’s online somewhere

Looks like you missed couple of threads from last week on GPA and value of A vs A- 🙂

A+ = A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- = 1.7
D+ = 1.3
D = 1.0
D- = 0.7
F = 0
