This is unfortunate and possibly serious situation. I submitted my amcas application June 2. I recently came to the realization that for my ongoing activities (4/14 spots in works and activities section), I had only put down completed hours and didn't project out despite indicating that my activities will be continued till my potential matriculation. I didn't clarify this in the descriptions either. I'm kind of freaking out about this...I potentially diluted some of my achievements and activities.
But still, I want to be able to fix this. I know some secondaries explicitly allow space to tell schools about any extra information and of course, I would mention this situation there. But for the secondaries that don't allow such a space, would it be super weird to mention off-hand that "amcas hours don't included projected hours"? Or would I have to resort to trying to maybe update schools individually? Any advice would be appreciated.
