So I’ve already submitted my primary app with 160 hours of volunteering as a MA (which I tracked the hours myself including training). Also I started out as a receptionist at this clinic but majority of my hours are from the medical assistant role that I switched over to after 8 months.. but on the W/A, I mostly talked about my MA role but indicated the start date as when I started out as a receptonist. The volunteer coordinator just told me that the system has 110 hours completed since I didn’t clock in for shadowing/training shifts. She has shared with me that these hours and timeline were indicated in the LOR.. how would adcoms look at this, the discrepancy in the hours and timeline? Would this be a big red flag???… plz any words would be appreciated..

This is reassuring to know. Thank you for your reply! Would you recommend that I clarify in the secondaries?

Gotcha, appreciate your input! Do you have any thoughts on the timeline discrepancy? The 160 hours were completed across two roles, but in my W/A, I only discuss the MA position, which differs from what the LOR says. This happened because I was considering separating the two roles or combining them, and I accidentally left the combined hours and receptionist start date with the MA description. Should I clarify this in secondaries?

I don't know what secondary essay prompts will let you explain; you should have viewed some prompts before applying. If there were any problems, you could be asked if you interview, but I wouldn't obsess more over it.
