Hmm, that's a good question. I'm pretty sure that I didn't, but it was like eight years in between the times I applied. I'm not sure what they do if you reapply the following year. You might want to contact the AAMC about this. Would you mind posting the answer here for others once you get it?

I did when I reapplied.. but it was back-to-back years.

I registered for the MCATs about two years ago and got my aamc ID. I registered for the amcas with my id, but I cancelled the application before it got verified. I'm applying this cycle again and it looks like my id stayed the same.
Maybe the id has a expiration time limit but I'm sure it's more than 2 years.

My amcas id stayed the same 3 years after initially applying. Only thing- I did have to redo was the entire amcas application. Guess it doens't like saving it for that long
