Hey guys,

Is it considered late, if I submit my AMCAS around mid-July? I'm thinking about taking two science summer classes and I would like to count them on my AMCAS. How long do you think it will take to get verified if I submit then? Thanks!

yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm not sure if it is ultimately worth it to wait that long. Oh well, I got some time obviously so I'll decide then haha

It's definitely not worth it. Even if you get a 4.0 in those classes, your GPA is going to see a very minimal, if any, increase. And having two additional classes on your transcript isn't going to blow the socks off of any readers of your application.

question- Can't you just submit your application and then update it later on once you get your grades for the summer classes?

Yeah, why not just list those classes as future classes on your AMCAS application and send updates to schools you want to see your summer grades?

Not worth it, submit AMCAS in June preferably first week of June. Your secondaries should be in by mid-July.

This would be the best way of going about it if you're desperate to have those summer grades listed somewhere.
