For example, for my fax number: shold I just not enter anything or put n/a?

I'm looking at the printed application and it looks kind of funny blank, but I'm not sure if this is what medical schools see. (is it?)

And there is really no contact name for my hobby. Do I put n/a? It looks nicer on the printed thing, but then again I'm not sure if this is what is actually sent to med. schools.

Yes, the pdf version of the AMCAS is (basically) what med school adcoms get to see. It doesn't matter if you leave all those fields blank or put n/a (although technically, it can still be applicable even if you don't have one). I personally left things blank if I didn't have them.

I left mine blank. I'm guessing most people did. So, yours might look funny if yours is the only one with NA all over the place. I'm sure it's not a big deal either way.

I could be mistaken, but I think there were a couple of places that I attempted to put N/A, and I received a formatting error of some sort. So, you're probably better off just leaving them blank.
