AMCAS Letter Writer Application

How does AMCAS Letter Writer Application work? If you are using interfolio would you just upload the lors from interfolio to AMCAS? When you asked your professor to write an lor do you have to tell them to write your AMCAS # somewhere? What else do you have to do for lor? This is just a work in and of itself.
