I forgot to let my letter writers know not to include the AMCAS number on their letters to osteopathic schools. One definitely went out with it! How bad is that going to look?!

who cares? so what if you are applying to both MD and DO.

yeah, i think it'll be fine - i believe your AMCAS # is also on your MCAT info (i.e. they'll be getting it anyway), so no worries! 👍

I don't think it's a big deal. Just be prepared to convince your interviewers that you really want to go osteopathic and not allopathic.

If you are applying to both wouldn't it be better and just tell the truth...i mean i think if you truly wanted to go osteopathic why would you even submit the AMCAS...just a thought I would focus on particular school's strengths instead of MD vs DO this is just somewhere you don't want your interview to go...

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I don't mean bring up MD vs DO unless they ask you why you applied to both.

I just don't get it.

Ok, I'm more relaxed now! 🙂 I just thought it would look real stupid that I had the AMCAS number on the DO stuff. I would imagine they know people apply to both. 😉
