AMCAS password expired?

My app isn't verified yet but I went to log in to my AAMC account so that I could look at an activity description on my AMCAS while I was writing a secondary and I keep getting a message that my password is expired and I need to create a new one. Is this something that happens, like after a year maybe? I made the account around a year ago I think when I signed up for the MCAT. It seems legit, but I just wanted to check before I start giving out info...

As I recall, they added additional security features this year, including making one pick a stronger password. And three questions with responses.

I thought it was, "What is the maiden name of your great grandmother's favorite childhood friend in second grade."
