At the bottom of the AMCAS application where the schools you applied to are listed, there is nothing for 2 of my schools in the column 'Date Transmitted from AMCAS to School.' Mind you I submitted my app in August and was 'verified' in September, but those two lines remain blank. Another school has a date of Nov 23rd but the others are in august. I've interviewed at one of the schools, adn the dean said she didn't even know what that was all about. But I figured if anyone knew an answer, it'd be here. So if there are any AMCAS specialists out there, I'd love to hear from you 🙂

I'm no expert - but I just wanted to say that the same thing has happened to me with Einstein.

For what it's worth, I've been both accepted and rejected (at different schools) that AMCAS supposedly hadn't sent my materials to. I lost faith in their online status page a long long time ago in a premed galaxy far far away. 🙂

That's funny actually about Einstein. I hadn't even really noticed but the other school that supposedly hasn't had my AMCAS app transmitted was Einstein, and they rejected me last week! So that's good. Now I know it's AMCAS' fault that I got rejected. For a minute, I thought I wasn't good enough. Good to have good ole' AMCAS as a scapegoat! So I haven't technically been rejected anywhere yet. Just one by an AMCAS technical glitch! 😉

That's an excellent way to think of it! 😉 😀 🙂

sorry to burst your bubbles... but, on amcas, the only school that shows no submission is einstein for me to this day. i interviewed there in october, but at that time, they had had my verified amcas. it was fed-exed there. don't know if that makes a difference for rejections.

shhhh...no it's AMCAS' fault that I was rejected. I'm sure 😀

Way back in October I called and emailed AMCAS about this problem. Three of the fifteen schools I applied to were blank. But AMCAS reassured me that these schools indeed did receive my verified application and that the problem was a computer problem. Go figure. But I did get two interviews from three and they said at the interview that they had my verified app.
