Can anyone help?

Do we HAVE to put AP credits on even if the university didn't credit your AP credits to a specific class? I.E. All my ap credits are listed on my transcript, but it doesn't say what i got on them nor does it say where the credit goes. Can i just not bother and skip ap credit stuff since i'm not using it to fulfill any med requirements anyway?

Also, due to AP credit, during my freshmen year (1st year) i was classified as a sohomore so when i list my 1st year courses, what do i say my class status is?

Thanks guys =D

I think advance standing classifications are university-dependent and not universal. I would email AMCAS, but I am inclinded to say that in general 1st year = freshman, 2nd year = sophomore, so on regardless of credit hours.

Also if AP credits are listed on your transcript, you should put them in. I dont see why you WOULDNT want to (you paid the money to take the test) and also it might lead to problems in the verification process. I think its doubly good then to stick in your AP credits.

See pages 26-27 of the AMCAS Instruction Booklet for class standing. It is based on credits earned, not time spent.

Like Gleevec said, if they're on your transcript, they have to be entered into AMCAS. Besides, it will only help make you look smart/motivated from early on.
