I had put on the AMCAS that I planned on taking the MCAT in May since it said to designate future/recent tests.

Having gotten my scores back, it still says that a future MCAT will be taken on the previously entered date (in May) even though the scores from that date are loaded. When I go in to correct the error, selecting no and pushing continue, I logout/log-back-in -- it still shows up as "planning to take a future MCAT".

My question is this: Do I have to correct the error and re-submit the entire application? I submitted it weeks ago for the sole purpose of early verification, so I hope that wasn't all for naught.

There is no resubmission once your app is submitted

that's not an error, mine says that and I took the mcat back in 2011. and yah no changes will ever be "saved" from here on out unless you re-submit.

you can resubmit for something like changing your address or a new school to apply to or something.

It seems as though I have answered my own question by reading some instructions...imagine that.

My question now is this: By "not causing any processing delays" by resubmitting to update (correct) this information, do they mean that I will still be in line for verification on my initial submission date? Thanks for the many replies already

For those who end up searching for and finding this thread in the future, your original submission date DOES NOT CHANGE when you resubmit for corrections at a later date.
