if one indicates a potential retake date, does the AMCAS not get processed until the retake score has been submitted?

I believe it processes with a note to adcoms that there is another score on its way.

You will get verified with no problem. You may even get some secondary applications from schools, but they would hold off on offering interviews until the score comes in.
