Early Decision AMCAS submission timing

Hi, for those that have applied Early Decision previously I wanted to ask if the August 1st deadline for primary application submission includes time for verification. I have heard that Early decision applications get verified sooner, but if I submit in early July will I be at risk of having a late application? Is the August 1st deadline for submission of primary or for verification of the primary?

My understanding is you have to submit your primary for verification and secondaries by August 1st, and you do get expedited processing so that schools can review it quickly. However, you don't get to apply to any other schools before you receive a decision from your ED school.

If you are applying to one school ED, read all its info carefully to see when your supporting documents like letters (and CASPer/PREview if applicable) are due by.

How fast is the fast track? Like 3 days or 2 weeks? They want to know if they will be verified by Aug 1 if they submit next week. Thank you for the info.

For anyone wondering I submitted late June and got verified in a day. Turnaround is very quick
