Hey guys,

Tried combing over the application guide but couldn't find anything about this scenario. On my official undegrad transcript, it lists a few courses transferred over from some classes I took at a CC. I'm already going to enter the grades on the CC section of my coursework, but do I need to enter the same classes in my undergraduate coursework?

Thanks!

I had this question when I apped in 2010. I only put it on my CC (where I actually took it, not where I transferred it to) and my AMCAS/AACOMAS were both verified.

AMCAS will only look at the record from the school where the courses were taken.

Transfer credit and GPA calcs as reported by a school are completely ignored.

Page 7 of the AMCAS instruction manual:
AMCAS counts grades and hours assigned by the school where the courses were originally taken, not by any school that might have granted transfer credit. The only exceptions to this rule are foreign coursework transferred to a U.S. or Canadian institution and coursework taken through an official study abroad program.
