AMCAS under review, but received an invite to submit secondary application

Hi!
So my AMCAS application is still under review 🙂 i submitted my primary on June 1st, but it's still under review, which is understandable, they said at their busiest, the verification process could take up to 6 weeks. But yesterday, I received an invite from one of the schools that I applied to to submit a secondary fee and application. I thought that doesn't happen until the AMCAS primary was all verified?! I just double checked my AMCAS application, it still says it's ready for review. Am I missing something!? Anyone else also experiencing this?

When your application is submitted to AMCAS, each school on your list is notified electronically with to expect a file from AMCAS after verification. This notification includes your AMCAS ID, name, and contact info. About a dozen or so schools use this info to send you a secondary prior to verification. You are free to submit as soon ad you like
