Anyone know if we can just send AMCAS our fall transcripts and have them send out a notice to the schools we applied to? Or do we need to send our transcripts to individuals schools?

I want to send an update letter. It makes sense to me to wait till AMCAS and TMDSAS receive the transcripts before emailing the individual schools about my grades.

Thanks for the feedback!

Good luck to all!

once AMCAS is complete, im pretty sure you can't really have them do anything. so you need to send your schools the updated transcripts. just by itself or with a letter, whatever.

Once you have submitted, you cannot go back and change anything. All you can do is add more schools. Like the above post, you'll have to send an individual transcript to each school. A nice letter would be nice as well.

Can I just send a letter with the information about my grades without sending a transcript?

TMDSAS wants updated transcripts. I asked if we needed a form, and this is what they said.

No form will be needed. make sure to have the transcript sent to our Austin, TX office. TMDSAS 702 Colorado Suite 6.400 Austin, TX 78701

Do I need to send TMDSAS updated transcripts after I submit the application?

Once the application has been submitted, it is the applicant's responsibility to send updated transcripts after each semester that new coursework has been completed. If you have had at least one interview, you must send TMDSAS updated transcripts at the end of each semester that coursework is completed. This applies to any coursework taken between the time you apply and the time you enter medical school.

So, anyone know for sure about AMCAS? Should I email and ask?

They said no to me. AACOMAS will take them though- just give them about 7 weeks to process lol.
