Does anybody know whether it is advantageous to send the official transcripts as soon as possible. I'm assuming that it doen't matter unless it gets there before you actually submit the AMCAS application, which is during the first week of June.

AMCAS on occasion has lost transcripts. So to avoid any delays, it may be better to send them in early.

I would send them now, or right after your spring semester grades are in. This way, in June, when you submit your AMCAS, they will have it ready so they can process ASAP. Also, call to make sure they got them.

You can send your transcripts after you do AMCAS. They don't have to get there before you submit.
