I realize that tertiary amines have lower boiling points than secondary and primary amines of similar molecular weight. However, I'm not sure where quaternary ammonium salts fall in this scale. Do they have a lower boiling point than tertiary amines, or will they have a boiling point similar to water because they are dissolved? I've tried to search for this online, but I haven't found any answers. Thanks for the help in advance.
