" when cells reach their upper limit for protein storage, amino acids can be burned for energy or converted to fat for storage"

my question:
1) aa burned for energy: do they mean going through glycolysis and kreb?and
can this occur in any cell including liver and fat cells?

2) aa converted to fat: I think, like glucose, this can only be done by liver and fat cells but later storage of that fat only takes place in fat cells..is that correct?
plz help
