Which of the services offered by AMSA are worth the membership fee for premeds? Would you join? and if you are already a member, would you renew?

I'm not renewing my membership. There are a few cool things... an AMSA health insurance plan through UHC if you need insurance, discounts on insurance through Geico, and a variety of other perks, but it's ultimately not worth it to me.

If you're interested in political advocacy, it might be worth it for you. That seems to be where most of AMSA's focus is.

I should note that the value of the perks you get is probably much greater than the fee you pay. I just didn't find myself using the services they offered.

It's probably worth it for many people, but it wasn't for me.
