Has anyone had success getting a waiver for ADHD? I’m off medication but it hasn’t been a full year. OOS II for the week of Oct 13, hoping for Navy if I’m lucky to get an A
I don't know about your specific situation, but while applying Navy HPSP getting both a medical and non-medical waver was extremely straightforward and approved within a week.

They have a max class size and they’ve sent out a good number of interviews and this time last year is around when the new interviewees (for late October) were for waitlist
I got my interview in September for 10/20 week. Are you saying this is probably for a WL spot ??

Not necessarily. I think you might be pretty close. Check last years thread.

Have any prior military and/or academy/rotc applicants gotten an interview yet?

Anyone have an idea on how many MD/PhD candidates they interview and accept?

My interview is first week of November.

I don't know how many they interview but they accept two. One for Army slot and one for the Air Force usually! Only non-prior service can apply,

Wow. I feel like my chances are now zero lol.

Just to confirm, the only people who are getting accepted are ED applicants at this point, correct? The rest of us will hear back at the earliest on 10/15?

Correct

Anyone receive an email from the civ team yet? I filled out the medical questionnaire but haven't received any word from them since filling out the questionnaire in mid September

I have! Are you waiting to be able to schedule your exams?

Yeah I am waiting for them to reach out to me. I filled out the questionnaire and waited a week before I reached out via email to the support email and they told me it could take 10 business days from completing the questionnaire (it's been two weeks lol).

Hey, has anyone heard anything about the admissions process since the government shutdown occurred? I am curious if this is affecting their admissions process or anything ( hopelessly hoping to get an ii, but definitely nervous with the timing)

does not affect admissions.

They reached out 5 days after for me to schedule but I didn’t get my forms to take to the appointment until 11 days after. I did receive an email that said they’re behind because they just switched systems and not to worry as it doesn’t affect admission decisions/timeline and that was prior to the shutdown so who knows if there will be an even longer delay now. Hopefully you hear from them soon!

How long till people heard back from their interviewers to schedule an interview? I completed the personal data form and received the interview confirmation email on September 18th and have not heard anything from anyone yet. I am interviewing for the MD/PhD program so I am not sure if this makes a difference.

Usually, the week of the interview, if the interviewers have something available on their calendar that week or at most a week prior. Good luck with your interviews.

Current USU MS2, I have a room in a house right across from base that I would love to sublet to anyone interested next year. Please dm if interested!

Just asking again since it's been some time: Have any prior military and/or academy/ROTC applicants received an interview yet?

Hey everyone!

Active-duty U.S. Navy here, and currently in a military pre-med program called the Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program (EMDP2).

-Interviewed on 9/23 and 9/30.
-Received an Email this morning (10/15) at 06:43am EST, from USUHS that I was placed on the Waitlist.

Congratulations to everyone who was so far accepted!
*Fingers crossed I get to join you all!

Does anyone know how strict the medical clearance is? I'm praying I get the unconditional but 🙁

Has anyone not been contacted by the Civ team? I believe I completed all the medical clearance forms and stuff but haven’t been reached out yet and it’s been 2-3 weeks at this point…

Government shutdown probably affecting clearance-related stuff.

I was invited to an II mid September and just received the invite this morning to do the medical exam. It does take awhile for them to get back to you after you filled the questionnaire.

Anyone know if there is an accepted students GC yet? Would be great to start getting to know our Cohort!
I'm thinking of just making one bc I've asked this a few times with no response. What platform does everyone prefer? Discord? FB? A new Reddit subreddit for c/o 2030?

Man having going through all these medical questionnaires and security clearance forms I want to believe that the ratio of interview invites to acceptances (or wait-list to acceptances) has to be high. This is based on the amount of work and money that goes into all of this.

Hello Yall,
I interview on 10/20 week by have my DoD MERB physical set for 11/13. im about 5'9 1/2 am am at about 190. Im very active in combat sports and carry quite a bit of muscle. My question is whether or not I would get taped at my DoD physical day of if I missed weight, it is unlikely i could get down to 179lb per army height and weight.

Don’t stress it. I’ve been in the army for a long time now, never made height and weight according to the charts - I’m always taped. The tape test isn’t looked at negatively, it’s just a clarifying measurement
