Oh dear. I'm just wondering what you expected with the X-ray! (Only thing I can figure is if the blade was broken off or not.)

Amazingly enough, this was a walk-in patient to one of our local EDs. The patient was in no distress, although I do think the ETOH played a bit of a role there....

Had a pt w/ a similar injury. Fishing knif to the dead center of his forhead. Went clean through the skull by about 4 in's. Awake/ alert/ talking.
