Hey guys,

I notice a lot of Osteopathic schools "strongly recommend" anatomy, physiology etc. What's the general consensuses about taking these classes, 200-level, at a community college?

If you have the time (and money) it will help expose you to some of the material but you won't have some sort of significant advantage in medical school taking it.

If you can it would probably be better to take anatomy and physio separate, at the university level. If you can't that that's fine.

Do it. I took A&P 1 and 2 at my community college, and I'm glad I did. I honestly don't know how people can prepare for the MCAT without physiology. There's quite a lot of it on the exam.

I did it. You can just review physio. Anatomy isn't essential. Really the kidney is the most important thing it seems.
