A couple of the schools that I am interested in applying to have a prerequisite of anatomy and also a physiology requirement for admittance. My undergrad does not have a course entitled physiology or anatomy. However, there is a course entitled Human Structure and Function and its course description is similiar to that of anatomy/physiology. I have tried to call schools but they have not gotten back to me. Does anyone know if Human Structure and Function could suffice for anatomy and/or physiology?

Yes, if it is an upper division science course under Biology (probably) than it's the same thing as a&p.

lol how do you not have anatomy or physiology?

yeah for whatever reason Penn State doesn't have a 400 level Human Anatomy course. They do have a comparative anatomy course that focuses on sharks and mammals, but there isn't a course in human anatomy.

Most schools are pretty flexible with how your classes will count for their pre-requisites, at least in my experience.

It baffles me.

The course description for the structure and function class is "systematic examination of human
structure and function with emphasis upon ultrastructural anatomy and molecular biology" Structure sounds like anatomy and function like physio.
