which are the largest cusps on the primary maxillary and mandibular molars?
please answer this q

pls ans the question with explanation....

glucagon has all of the following actions except

a)increases plasma glucose
b)inc plasma free fattyacids and ketoacids
c)decreases plasma aminoacids
d)increases urea production

does glucagon promote lipolysis or lipogenesis??does it increase or decrease plasma fatty acid level??

pls ans the question with explanation....

glucagon has all of the following actions except

a)increases plasma glucose
b)inc plasma free fattyacids and ketoacids
c)decreases plasma aminoacids(ans)
d)increases urea production

insulin inhibits lipolysis not glucagon.it promotes lipolysis.

glucagon increases the amnt of plasma amino acids.

plz explain

2. A patient comes to clinic wanting to get his tooth removed and does not want to listen to the pros and cons of the treatment, what does the dentist do?

a. Perform the treatment
b. Explain the pros and cons anyways and then perform the treatment
c. Refuse treatment
d. Explain the pros and cons and recall the patient

3. A hypoplasia of primary teeth which is limited to incisal thirds of incisors, incisal tips of canines, and occlusal portion of molars suggest what?

1-staph.aureus most commonly causes:
a-pyoderma
b-septicemia
c-sore throat
d-chronic infection
e-exogenous infection

2- the antigenic component of which of the following vaccines is a capsular antigen?
a-influenza
b-poliovirus
c-hepetitis B
d-haemophilius influenzae -ans
e-mycobacterium tuberculosis

P waves occuring in ST segment indicates ectopic beats originating in;

- lower portion of bundle of his (Let me know if I didn't screw up, and I will explain.)
-upper portion of bundle of his

cushings syndrome is characterized by foll except one;

- increased protein anabolism *it inhibits protein synthesis
-increased androgen levels

-hypertension
-hyperkalemia

role of calcium in activation of cardiac muscle

-couple myosin n actin to form actinomyosin
-reduce inhibition of tropomyosin upon the myofilaments
-cause depolarization of muscle
Ca binds troponin, which enables troponin to remove tropomyosin from the actin binding site ---> myosin can bind now ---> muscle contracts.

I think answer should be hyperkelemia as in cushing's syndrome aldosterone also increases so it will produce hpokelemia by retaining Na+ ions and pt have moon face, buffalo hump , weight gain so protein anabolism should increase,
plz explain

You can go to the dental decks' website, and get the corrections from the desks with errors. These card is one of them

the spleen does not:

1) House lymphocytes
2) Filter foreign particles, damaged red blood cells and cellular debris from the blood
3) contain phagocytes
4) Change undifferentiated lymphocytes into T-lymphocytes
