For those of you who have finished your first year/semester of dental school and took anatomy in undergrad, how much did it help? I've heard of people taking anatomy in undergrad for the sole purpose of being ready for it in dental school. I was not planning on taking anatomy in undergrad because I don't have an open slot for it, but I might be able to fit it in if anatomy helps that much.

I'm in dental school but won't take anatomy until 2nd semester. However, I do know for a fact that many schools have human anatomy as a prerequisite to applying to schools.
Those that do not require it often times favor students that have taken it.
