The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, Section of Critical Care, at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for PGY-5 fellowship positions for the 2009-2010 academic year. The fellowship is an ACGME accredited one year program at UPHS. Board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology is required. The critical care service operates under a closed-unit model and manages critically ill trauma, general surgery, thoracic surgery, transplant surgery, urology, and ENT patients. The fellowship offers rotations in echocardiography, neurosurgical critical care, cardiothoracic surgical critical care, medical ICU and research.
