Somewhere I saw an interview with the actor who played Hitler in the movie "The Downfall" about all these parodies. He is rightly very proud of his acting in the movie, and he tried hard, but slightly unsuccessfully I think, not to be a bit miffed that the parodies have been more widely viewed than the movie itself. The movie was fantastic and nicely researched; and incredibly well acted on all parts.
