Anesthesiologist had sex with nurse while patient was under GA

Bed, nurse, anesthesiologist and sleeping patient…. what could go wrong.

All joking aside…. anesthesia induction rooms are super cool and efficient.

Wish we had them here.

I doubt they are more efficient than an effective OR team for most case types. Get EVS and the free OR people to turnover the room and you can have minimal delays.

My average patient passing through the OR door into the room to being intubated & ready for surgical prep is 6 minutes. How is an induction room speeding that up?

Edit: Also, think about the increased space requirements, equipment, etc.

Have you actually had the opportunity to have an induction room?
I have and loved it. Anesthesia RN takes patient to induction room while you are waking up the current patient.
Drop the patient off in pacu.
Go to induction room while the room is being cleaned.
Block, induce, place lines. All this is done on a OR table in the induction room.
When the room is ready, you literally open the door to the induction room (physically attached to the OR) and plug in the OR table.
Prep and go.
Super nice…. need to make time for that mid morning coffee and scones.

she was willing (we assume) to be banged by a balding, paunchy, soon-to-be-broke, new father who was basically out of his mind, and at such a pace that virtually guarantees she got little satisfaction from it. I get that there's a sliding scale in the hospital, but I'm putting my nickel on "not hot."

I hate to say it, but the prefix Dr. sometimes can do magic.

Correct. Especially during hurricane lockdown in Florida

Like my place where married ortho doc banging early 20s radiology tech.

All because the hospital wouldn’t let family members into the hospital lockdown if they allowed him to bring wife and 3 kids. He may not have been tempted to get it on with the tech.

And he left her and the 3 kids to be with the 25 year old. At least it was just a fling. He’s not that old. 38 year old.

Ortho doc and Rad tech really is a tale as old as time. We had one knock up a Rad tech and leave his wife back when I was in training
 
There are amc corporate medical directors having sex in closets at the hospitals while on the clock and one of the big amc still kept paying him 700k plus and more despite staff complaints cause he will hit on any young thing.

No one cares except his wife. (Now ex)

Now the new much younger wife wants to have a baby and dude is old. Almost pushing social security age.

Maybe in some parallel universe there is a person that thinks you are a hot-shot surgeon that closes your pocket with monocryl faster than a third-year med student. But, it definitely isn't in this universe.
