Say a yellow bee stings you. The "victim" is now afraid of anything that is yellow and bee-like. What's this an example of? I can't think of the term. I think it is along the lines of animal behavior.

isnt this batesian mimicry? mullerian mimicry is when you would be scared of anything that is yellow and bee like ONLY if it was actualy dangerous. if it is not dangerous, then it is batesian mimicry

Yeah that sounds about right. I didnt know how else to describe the word that I was thinking of lol...but it makes sense now.

Batesian mimicry: harmless organisms imitate a harmful organism's warning sign

Mullerian mimicry: 2 harmful species, that aren't closely related share the same warning signs


I think there's a better way to word this lol
