This chart might be helpful to know/memorize just in case they ask about specific phyla and whether they have protostome/deuterostome development. Also shows major innovations from sponges (most primitive) to chordates (vertebrates)..( this is a legit chart. i did not find it online it is from a class on animal development that I am currently taking). I can elaborate on it if you guys have any questions.
