The California Medicine Coalition (CMC) is exploring the viability of creating a GME “Back to California” Pathway for Black and Latino medical school students.

CMC aims to increase the number and diversity of residents placed in California GME programs in communities most impacted by primary care physician shortages. To that end they have prepared a survey seeking the perspectives and opinions of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Black and Latino medical school students from our institution and others to inform the pathway design.

Please consider taking 15-20 minutes to complete this survey: https://www.research.net/r/cmcstudentvoice

The link will close on April 30th.

All survey results are completely anonymous and confidential. CMC will receive a compilation of the de-identified data from its research partner, InterEthnica.

At the end of the survey there is an option to indicate your interest in participating in a follow up virtual focus group with InterEthnica to further explore certain themes. Each focus group participant will receive a $100 stipend.

To learn more about CMC and the GME Pathways Back to California Initiative, please refer to the attachments on this post.

If you have questions, please contact the survey administrators via the email listed on the attached flyer. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
