I’ve been practicing a bunch and have come a long way in speaking more slowly and articulately. However, I am having a hard time breaking the habit of occasionally clicking my tongue against the roof of my mouth (not loudly or dramatically). I wasn’t even aware I do this until someone helping me practice pointed it out. Anyone have any tip on how to break a habit you aren’t even aware you’re doing?!? Or am I just going to take L’s on all my interviews?

You’ll just have to be really conscious of it. If you focus on not doing it in every day speech and whenever you interact with someone, you’ll break the habit eventually. It can be hard though. Definitely try, because that is a super annoying habit.

Alternatively, you could have a friend spray you with a squirt gun every time you do it for a while.

I like the squirt gun idea.
