Another EC question

This may sound kind of weird. Is it possible for a class to count as an EC? I received units for some of my ECs (choir, being a lab assistant), but I had to audition and/or apply for them. Choir involved performances outside of class time; being a lab assistant didn't, but it was a leadership/teaching sort of thing (I worked with the TA by helping students with their experiments in a class I had previously taken). Should I consider these things as ECs even though they are on my transcript?

Yeah I think those can count. For a long time I used to get credit (1 or 2 units) for doing research, but it was still an extra-curricular thing.

i figure it can't hurt to put them on things of yours. if nothing else, it'll give the school interviewers something to ask you about 😉
