  1. Pre-Medical
for any engineers that decided on a career change, specifically biomedical, biochemical, biomechanical, chemical, or environmental.
Were any of your upper lever courses counted towards your BCMP? like for example I took a wastewater microbio class that really had MINIMAL microbio. Should I count it as a engineering class or biology. Technically it was through the engineering department but the title is misleading and I dont know if They will make me put it as biology. Also, has anybody ever challenged a decision made my AMCAS with regards to a similar issue to this one?

AMCAS has instructions on thier website for the specific courses to be listed as BCMP. If you want to list anything else..its your call, but if AMCAS does not agree, you risk delaying your app due to back n forth with AMCAS and it can really hurt you in the end. If i was you i would just follow their instructions and get the AMCAS processed as soon as you can.

I can understand your pain about not able to list engg courses in bcmp, but i guess its their game and you have to play by their rules.

Best of luck !!
