I got into medical school! 😀 (What did you expect me to write). Anyway I got into Loma Linda. It was kind of funny how my dad told me. He called me on my cell phone and the first thing he asked me was for some internet address and then he said "oh, by the way, we got your acceptance letter from loma linda today." I was so happy I didn't say ask him why he didn't tell me that first. Well happy holidays.

Congrats!! If you don't mind, I was wondering when did you interview at Loma Linda. I interviewed on December 12 and was just wondering what the turn around time was. Dr. Thorn said it could be up to three months. Also, are you SDA? Do you know if they fill their class with SDA members first and then non-SDA?

I really loved Loma Linda!! I interviewed with Dr. Lewis - it was the greatest interview I have ever had. Well, congrats again!!

Let's see i interviewed with Dr. Thorn on November 19. I am SDA, but I don't know if they fill with SDA first or not. Dr. Thorn told me the committee reviews the applications in order of MCAT/GPA

Can I ask you if you also got a call from Dr.Thorn ? because I'm on vacation right now and when I checked my answering machine today there was a message from Dr.Thorn asking me to call him back but he's on vacation when I called the number ... so I'm really curious since I'm still out of town and not able to check my mailbox

Congrats!! Loma Linda is an awesome school and you will get a first-rate education there. I know a lot of people who would give anything to go to a California school. Anyway, nice job- you're going to be a great physician.

I am not aware that Dr. Thorn called my house, but I wasn't at home, but my family was. So, he could have called and one of my family memeber may have simply said he is not here when he asked for me. I would guess that Dr. Thorn calling you is good news. Best of luck to you and thanks for all the congratulations.
