lol...

sometimes i feel that I dont even need a doctor cuz i just have to pose q's up here...its a good thing nonpremeds dont now bout this thing or else theyd consult this forum instead of an MD.

anyways here's my serious q. I have a friend..(dont worry its not me cuz i'm a guy) who is a female and is having vaginal excretions normally referred to as CUMMING but w/o any reason. I asked her what her symptoms were. SHe has not had any sex or activity in about 1.5 weeks. She claims its girl's cum. oh by the way the girl is 20 yrs old. She doesnt consider these to be a part of the "wet dream" phenomenon since she's usually awak or sitting down and doesnt ponder sexual thoughts in her head she states. The excretions are obviously clear and described as sticky. Oh, and I asked her if she had her period yet, she says its due in about a week. Does anyone know what is going on with her? its sure as hell mind boggling to me.

I said go visit ur ob/gyn....before she does that what do u all predict is the problem?

I find it hard to believe that this is a serious question, but on the off chance it is...

It's not unusual for a woman's vaginal secretions to change consistency between menstrual cycles. It is a common occurrence. However, if it is associated with burning, itching, foul odor, unusual color, dysuria, or abd. pain, a doctor should be consulted. (possible problems are bacterial or viral infections or std's)

Tell your friend that these secretions are most likely perfectly normal. As a matter of fact, vaginal secretions typically become rather sticky mid-cycle to aid in fertilization. Since she is young perhaps she hasn't noticed these variations before or she is still adjusting to her normal adult cycles.

Rather than seek advice on-line, any questions should be referred to her Ob-Gyn or FP.
