More clinical experience + solid MCAT = med school for you

Unless your research allowed you to interact frequently with cancer patients, you have some beefing up to do; applying with only 20ish hours of clinical volunteering experience is pretty sparse. Otherwise, your ECs look pretty good. The shadowing looks particularly meaty. Do you have some regular nonmedical community service that helps those with poor economic resources closer to home?

I am in the process of becoming a volunteer at a local hospital. How many hours would you recommend I shoot for?
