I tried searching to answer my question, but couldnt find anything. So, for those of you who have taken the DAT, is cliffs sufficient for taxonomy? It only gives the major phyla, is that all we need to know?

example: do we know that euglanoids come from the lineage discicristata? etc. ? (THIS IS NOT MENTIONED IN CLIFFS--From my bio textbook)

or is just knowing euglanoids and their major characteristics sufficient

thanks in advance!

i asked that same question this weekend, and most of the replies said that cliffs was definitely sufficient.
I used cliffs and KBB. I used my textbook for a reference to find examples of each phyla so it would be easier to remember, but thats about it.
taxonomy is a bitch.
good luck!
