Another thread to complain about the time AMCAS is taking to verify apps!

So I thought I'd start another thread to complain about the time it takes for AMCAS to verify our apps! It's still verifying apps put under review on June 18th!!! Basically they're still verifying apps submitted a month ago! I guess it's prob cuz of the load but considering that we spend way more than the average hourly wage on each application and they probs don't spend more than an hour per primary, this is just annoying! I wouldn't mind donating 5 hours of my time to bump up my application verification date by 2 weeks. Or maybe even an extra hundred of my fellowship bucks!

But we can't rule out that AMCAS might actually be on a spaceship travelling near the speed of light so time passes by slower than it does here!

I'll be honest, I'm kinda pissed as well. I submitted my application 7/17 and it still says that it's awaiting my transcripts. What's going on over there? 😡

They tell you 4-6 weeks. Right now they're doing it at like a 4 week pace getting very close to peak time. I think they're doing things right on schedule.

They say they're on 6/18 but I was 6/20 and got verified yesterday evening- I think they keep that date a day or two behind where they are to keep our expectations in check.
